Winn Feline Foundation
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Wyckoff, NJ, September 21, 2015: Winn Feline Foundation announces the launch of a new program to promote and enhance the relationship between cat owners and their veterinary health team. The veterinary Technician Honor Roll will complement Winn’s program honoring outstanding veterinarians established in 2007, the Veterinary Honor Roll.
Cat owners often experience a deep appreciation for the care their cats receive at their veterinary hospital. A Technician’s role in providing this care can be essential to the overall satisfaction of the client’s pet health care experience. Winn’s new program is meant to allow clients to express their heartfelt appreciation with more than a “Thank You.”
Winn also encourages veterinarians to utilize the new Technician Honor Roll as a way of recognizing extraordinary competence and performance by a technician on their health care team. What better way to celebrate this year’s National Veterinary Technician Week, October 11th through the 17th!
Not only does the Technician Honor Roll offer a special way for cat owners or veterinarians to express gratitude for an outstanding health care experience or a special employee performance, it also provides funds for feline health research – a gift that will resonate for years to come.
For a donation as small as $100, Winn will send a beautiful framed certificate to the special technician and a letter naming the cat owning donor or sponsoring DVM. In addition, the technician’s name will be listed on the “Technician Honor Roll” page on Winn’s website.
Winn is the only international charity devoted solely to the advancement of feline health.
